PRESENT-TENSE
When Arthur Smith reached his 28th birthday, he had no idea how much his routine life would change, starting with the cards . . .
Summoned to England to collect ‘one or two things’ left by his grandmother, he is drawn into a web of family-intrigue which began long before his birth.   Along the way, he meets characters who force him to examine his feelings and assumptions about Life and Love.   The psychic seat-companion on the plane, her attractive daughter, his warring elderly aunts and a mysterious old woman are not what they seem - and all share a secret that he needs to uncover, a secret that lies in the heart of an antique mirror.
The novel is an extraordinary romance, one which develops within a mystery influenced by an ancient ritual.   As Past and Future blend, the only way for the young man to make sense of the world is to think in the present-tense . . .
This book is first in the 'Gathering Green' series.

PANDORA'S BOX
Old Colonel Hanson left his sister the big house stuffed with valuable antiques - but half of his money went to a woman the family didn’t know.  Who is this mysterious outsider and why was she also bequeathed the mysterious Pandora’s Box, which might contain one of the world’s greatest treasures?
Was it murder?  Paul Gardiner, anxious to support his bereaved aunt, goes with her to the newly-inherited home in search of clues to the old man’s death.  Is the headless chicken evidence? Or the photo-shopped family picture?   Or the newly-adopted cat that shuns contact?  Why had the charming ‘Spook-Lady’ and surly ‘Appraiser of Furnishings’ been given posthumous appointments?  And where is that Box hidden?
This novel is a romance embedded in a mystery, full of unexpected twists.  The plot quickly moves from Paul’s sceptical curiosity to startling discoveries, violent interventions and astonishing answers.  Love blossoms as the action unfolds, while in the background lies a masterful schemer and the uncanny influence of the mysterious Green Man.
Like Present-Tense, but independent from it, this book introduces characters important to later novels in the 'Gathering Green' series.

SEASON'S GREETING
Paul and Jenn are living together in the big old house, caretaking for his absent aunt.  Among the stored Christmas decorations, they find a box of antique balls which react strangely to light.  Despite Jenn's instant dislike of them, these unusual ornaments are used as part of their seasonal display and are greatly admired by guests at a party.
Then the balls start to disappear.  Who wants to steal, study or destroy them?  Why would weird societies send alien-alerts and the FBI show interest?  What does the beautiful 'Mrs. Boss' know?  Did the last words of Paul’s long-vanished mother refer to these mysterious orbs?  And do they steal love?
In their search for answers, the young couple find themselves solving a family riddle, helping to right an old wrong and perhaps saving Mankind.
Season’s Greeting is fiction based on a real-life mystery and is the third novel in the 'Gathering Green' series, bringing together characters from the first two books.
